Brunnshög, the sustainable and futuristic district located in northeast Lund is taking shape. Housing, services and workplaces that will eventually accommodate nearly 40,000 people are now being constructed. Acquiring your newly built home is a four-step process.
We reserve the apartment for you for approximately one week so that you will have time to meet with your bank, get more information and have your current home appraised.
Once you have decided on your new home, you may go ahead and book it. This involves signing an agreement between you as the buyer, and the tenant-owner association.
A booking fee of 25,000 SEK is to be paid in connection with the signing of the agreement. This step reserves the apartment for you. The booking fee will be refunded upon signing a pre-agreement.
The next step is the pre-agreement. This is signed once the cost estimate has been certified and the association has been granted permission to receive down payments. The pre-agreement is binding and means that the tenant-owner association has an obligation to provide you with a condominium lease for the apartment you selected, and that you are bound to accept the condominium lease. When the pre-agreement has been signed a down payment of 50 000 SEK is to be paid.
A lease agreement is to be signed once access to the apartment is possible. By that time the association’s economic plan has been drawn up and registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office, and the association has also been granted permission to lease out the apartments. Upon signing the agreement, the balance is to be paid, at which time you will receive the keys to your new home.
The houses are heated by district heating and the apartments are equipped with radiators. Ventilation is performed through mechanical exhaust and supply air, including recycling for maximum comfort. Ceiling height is approximately 3.5 metres on the ground floor, and 2.6 meters on other levels.
